It’s always been really important for us at Azimai to make conscious choices. From who makes up our team, to the ingredients we use and now to making a positive impact with our profits.
We believe in trees. We love them, we need them and so we’re chuffed to partner with WeForest who do great work globally including, especially important for us, Zambia. They make earth cooler by facilitating the growth of trees to regain ecological integrity and they’re really smart about how they do it.

All of our ingredients are sourced within Africa from reputable sources. That’s been key for us from day one. The main ingredient we use of course is our luxurious golden beeswax, sourced from right here in Zambia from Tree Top Honey. Treetop Honey has partnered with and empowered over 8000 Zambian families in small-scale farming. You can find out more about them here
Zambia has a very communal culture, in the best of ways. That means when one person is employed they more than likely support their extended family in one way or another. That is true for our team too. So we like to help a little further by paying for costs that go towards education within their families. Education is really important to us here and we truly believe that with a level playing field everyone can rise up together.
